    Editor section collapse

    Is there any way to keep the sections in the Editor collapsed or expanded?
    Or a keystroke sequence (like in Visual Studio) to quickly expand and contract all of them?
    I would rather open an indicator for editing with everything collapsed or be able to collapse them other than going to each one. Also, noticed that after each compile, they all go back to the way they were.

    Suggestions, comments?

    Thanks!

    Hello,

    I do not think this is possible; however I will have someone confirm this assumption on Monday. Thank you for your patience.

      Wow, which Monday did you mean.

      I second this. It would be really useful to have an F-key or similar for expand all / collapse all in the editor. I regularly have to slowly go through large strategies doing each method manually.

        Dave, thanks for some humor on the Tuesday morning. I've just sent in the request as a suggestion - I should have a tracking number here in a bit.

          Thanks Austin,

          I don't suppose you could give it the tracking number it would have got in March 2009 could you ;-) ;-)

            We recently started the public tracking numbers, so unfortunately no. You do have the newest tracking number (#1081) now though.

              Come on guys, three years and counting. This should be a fairly easy one right?

                Is there anyway to collapse all the comments simultaneously? My code is growing quite large and I usually have to collapse each section/method manually. Its getting very annoying now

                  Hello MadScientist,

                  Thank you for writing in.

                  Unfortunately, there is no way to collapse all comment blocks / methods at the same time.

                  However, when compiling code, all regions will be collapsed. What can be done is placing your comment blocks / methods in regions.

                  Example:
                  Code:
                  #region Some Method
                  public void SomeMethod()
                  {
                  }
                  #endregion
                  Please, let us know if we may be of further assistance.
